We want to help facilitate an amazing experience from start to finish. We know that a big part of any adventure is just deciding where to go. So we’re going to be posting our favorite trip ideas here to help the process, spark inspiration, or just take all thought out of your next get away.
Here are some other great resources for finding places to adventure:
Campendium – Great site and app for finding camp sites, both free and paid. From state and national parks to BLM land to boondocking spots, they’ve got you covered.
Hipcamp – A cool new way to camp. Camp on people’s property all over the country. Renters list their sites like an Air BnB. Many are off grid, but some do provide electric and water. Some even allow you to use their restrooms or have built bath houses on their land. Most are pretty inexpensive and can be booked for only 1 night. All pertinent info is in the listing and you can talk to the land owner before renting. New sites popping up all the time!
Harvest Hosts – $79/yr plan that allows you to stay for free at hundreds of farms, wineries, breweries, distilleries, and other attractions across the country. Most don’t provide power or water, and you must have everything self contained during your stay (no outdoor toilets or showers). But it’s an opportunity to stay at some reall neat spots along your trip route.
National Parks Pass – If you plan to hit the National Parks, it’s a huge money saver to buy a National Park Pass. They are $80 per year while each National Park charges around $35 for a 7 day entry. You also get to go in the faster line for entry!
